Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted and honoured to invite you to the 62nd Turkish Pediatrics Congress, which will be held at the Elexus Hotel Congress Center in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus between May 5-9, 2027.
Pediatrics is not just a discipline that treats childhood illnesses; it is also a science that carries the responsibility of protecting the future. Today, global problems such as climate change, environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, infectious diseases, migrations, and disasters directly affect the health and lives of children. Creating a world where children can grow up healthy is a shared responsibility not only of health systems but of all humanity.
With this understanding, we have determined the main theme of the 62nd Turkish Pediatrics Congress as "One Health": Healthy Planet, Healthy Children.
The One Health approach is a contemporary approach that recognizes that human, animal, and environmental health cannot be considered separately, and centres interdisciplinary collaboration for a sustainable future. Children are at the heart of this shared future, because protecting the future of children means protecting the future of the world.
Throughout our congress, we will share the latest scientific developments in all subspecialties of pediatrics, while also addressing environmental, social, and global transformations affecting child health from a multidisciplinary perspective. I believe that our scientific program, enriched by the contributions of leading scientists in their fields, will contribute not only to our knowledge base but also to our goal of creating a healthier and more sustainable future for children.
With its sixty-two-year-long history, the Turkish Pediatrics Congress continues to be one of the most important scientific gatherings in Turkish Pediatrics. We would be delighted to see you among us as part of this great scientific family.
In the light of science, we hope to meet in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for the common future of children and the world.
